Staff of Grand Mercure Roxy will be foaming and washing cars to raise funds for children of the lower income families in Marine Parade while reaching out to foster closer ties with the local community.

The funds which will then be presented to these children during a Charity Dinner at a later date will go about making a difference to their education.

$15,000 is targeted to be raised from the event this year. For every dollar raised, Roxy Pacific Holdings Limited will match dollar to dollar up to $15,000.

Ms May Chang is a Senior Social Worker at the Hougang Sheng Hong Family Service Centre. With more than 14 years’ experience in counselling marital, parenting, family violence and psychological health issues, May also graduated from Monash University with a Masters in Counselling.
